Hayley Caddy’s fabulous fundraiser offered the perfect opportunity for us to show our appreciation of two of our pioneering Western Australian mesothelioma researchers. Professor Bill Musk (left) and Professor Bruce Robinson (right) are pictured here with Professor Anna Nowak, holding the portraits that we commissioned from the very talented Hayley.  These were presented at a Cancer Council Biggest Morning Tea event on 27 May held by NCARD, and encouraged by Anna, who is a Cancer Council board member. Invited guests included two long time colleagues of Bill’s: generous baker Naomi Hammond, and Nola Olsen, who had provided the photo used by Hayley to draw Bill. Raising more than $7,000 for mesothelioma research, Hayley’s 100 Portraits in 100 Days both exceeded her fundraising goal, but was a truly unique way to honour the memory of her Dad.
