The 2024 NCARD Public Lecture: “Asbestos: New Frontiers in Management, Science, and Care” will be held on September 18.
We have three speakers for the evening to discuss the latest advancements in asbestos-related disease management and research. First will be Samuel Jackson from Thuroona Services, an expert in hazard management who will discuss the newest asbestos risk mitigation and safety protocols strategies. Our next presenter is Dr. Melvin Chin from Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and NCARD. He will be sharing cutting-edge developments in mesothelioma research. Last but not least, Professor Jenette Creaney, NCARD’s clinical director, will speak about the innovative research currently taking place at NCARD.
This engaging seminar offers an excellent opportunity to learn about mesothelioma research, ask questions, and network with researchers and individuals impacted by asbestos-related diseases.
The event will take place on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, with registration starting at 4:30 PM and the lecture running from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by refreshments. The location is Room G24, Harry Perkins Institute building, QEII, 6 Verdun St, Nedlands WA 6009.
