The History of NCARD

In the 1980s, our research into asbestos-related diseases, particularly mesothelioma, began as the Tumor Immunology Group. Since then, our research has expanded to encompass various aspects of human disease biology. The recognition of the strategic importance of our work as a Center of Research Excellence led to the establishment of NCARD.
