DR FRANCOIS RWANDAMURIYE

POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH SCIENTIST

Francois joined NCARD in 2024 as a Research Associate. He is developing mRNA-based cancer vaccines for mesothelioma and other lung cancers as part of the Australian Centre for RNA Therapeutics in Cancer (ACRTC) seed project. In 2024, he was awarded the Raine Research Prize and secured a Cancer Council WA project grant.

Currently, Francois’s work focuses on advancing RNA therapeutics and drug delivery systems for cancer treatment, with a particular emphasis on developing novel mRNA-based therapies for mesothelioma patients in Western Australia.
